Dinners for Charity at Handmade Prabhat Gautam of PositiveTelevision.org hosts Dinners for Charity weekly. While their regular venue is renovating, Handmade Galleries will proudly host during the month of September. Join us for dinner on Sunday from 4pm - 6pm. Each patron gives whatever they want and the money raised will benefit the charity chosen for that day. Upcoming Schedule / Charity

Reflections - a Natasha Vetlugin RetrospectiveHandmade Galleries is happy to showcase the work of Natasha Vetlugin. Known primarily for being one half of the dynamic ceramic team of Skellramics, Vetlugin is equally at home as a fine artist. Reflections is culled from the past twenty years of her art from her early drawings in book form to her later large-scale portraits. Vetlugin reflects not only on her own art, but also on the dichotomy of her life in two very diverse countries: Soviet Russia and the United States. Handmade is the first US venue to display this work. It is showcased in the front windows as well as the small gallery in the back of the store. Join us at the opening reception. American Obsessions - Larry LytleOver the past 8 years Larry Lytle has used "action figures" such as Barbie ™, Ken™ and G. I. Joe™ as well as others to create scenarios and dioramas that explore political and social issues. In this new series titled, American Obsession, Lytle is using the small parts, shoes, guns, and food that come with the figures to explore consumerism and obsession in his typical humorous approach.
